It's that time of year again.
The nights have well and truly drawn in, crept up as if from nowhere, and suddenly it is dark at 4.30pm. Despite this gloomy phenomenon happening at the same time every 12 months, it still comes as a shock to the system. The countrywide feeling that winter has finally arrived is suddenly noticeable in every crunch of fallen leaves underfoot.
We imagine twinkling windows and pink noses, cinnamon scented baking and
long evenings spent hugging mugs of hot chocolate.
We also thinks coats.
This season the tomboy is IN. Think parkas and puffas, grungy, sporty, boyish.
